BOBBY JONES 8 A.M. SATURDAY 16 NOVEMBER 2013 BRITISH COURSE - $31.00 -RSVP

                We need to get a handle on the number of people attending the coronation party at the Waterfront 2 in Venice on 23 November 2013. Spouses, girlfriends and boyfriends are welcome. We have $400.00 in the food kitty. Alcohol is not included. The YMCA in Venice is making their fine facility available for showers. The Y is right next to Pelican Pointe. The party starts right after golf so no one has to drive a huge distance to clean up and then drive back. The party budget will be expended no matter how many people attend. Please RSVP your intentions by Wednesday 20 November 2013. Prospective members are welcome to attend but they will be consigned to a separate tab.

                The peripatetic Rob Coseo is going to be in Las Vegas on 16 November, so the coronation party is now moved to 23 November, still at the Waterfront 2 in Venice. In other news, I heard back from Palm Aire about playing there in the winter. Please email your comments.

Hello Mr. Dietz,

I apologize for my delay in responding to your interest in playing golf through the winter at Palm Aire.  The answer right now is that yes, we can take your group twice a month on Saturday mornings through the winter.  The best rate that we would be able to offer would be $50 plus tax per person but we could guarantee you times from 9 -10 a.m. if you would want them.  I'm not sure where you are on your plans for the next few months, but I just wanted you to know what our availability is.  We appreciate you bringing your group here through the summer and look forward to seeing more of you in the future.
