Game Plan – one more time – If we have heavy rain tonight we will not be playing Myakka Pines. My phone will be on at 6:30 a.m. (941.228.5526). If the weather is conducive we will transfer to Palm Aire for the 8:30 a.m. shotgun. The address of Myakka Pines is 2550 S. River Road, Englewood (941.474.1753). Shane and Darryl – you are not on the play list but are expected.

GAME PLAN
Okay, guys and dolls, here’s the layout for Operation Overlord (my apologies to the WWII Veterans). Myakka Pines is open today Friday 26 September 2014. The pro shop guy said they will be open tomorrow “if we don’t get any more rain.” So, I need each member to monitor the weather. If we get pounded, Myakka will be closed. But Palm Aire will be open. If it rains at midnight there won’t be any emails announcing our venue. We can show up at the last minute at Palm Aire. I will have my phone on at 6:30 a.m. Saturday. By the way, we only have sixteen respondents as of Friday morning. Let me know yea or nay.

OPERATION FLEXIBILITY
Okay, gang, because of the weather we have created a contingency plan for Saturday. The folks at Myakka Pines told me they have terrible drainage and are constantly closing because of swampy conditions. Ipso Facto, we will not be deterred. I made backup plans for Myakka Pines closing. We will transfer our venue to Palm Aire for the usual 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. I will call Myakka Pines on Friday. If they say they cannot open, we will move. Please check your emails Friday afternoon. If you forget, call me Saturday morning (941.228.5526).
