UPDATE FOR 24 JANUARY 2015

                The newsletter will arrive about noon today. Based on the email responses I’ve received, there is confusion about our weekend plans. Here is what the weather is telling me at 9 a.m. Friday morning. It is going to rain hard tonight. It is expected to carry over into the morning. I live two minutes from Palm Aire. I will have my phone on by 7 a.m. (941.228.5526). Remember – it could be pouring rain on Clark Road and clear on University Parkway. You never know. But I will be able to tell you. Right now we have six people who are interested in playing golf Sunday if Saturday is a rainout. It would be nice to get two more. If you call me between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. Saturday I will give you the best information on course conditions and perhaps save you from a long ride. Anyone waking up Sunday morning who suddenly decides he or she wants to play – no problem. There will be plenty of room. Palm Aire has an 8:30 a.m. shotgun Sunday and Saturday.
